The MTS-500 features X/Y/Z travels of 500 / 600 / 570 mm respectively, with a spindle-nose-to-table range of 100–670 mm. Rapid traverses reach up to 36 m/min on X and Y and 30 m/min on Z, while cutting feeds span 1–20 000 mm/min. Each axis is driven by high-torque servomotors rated at 4 kW (X, Y), 7 kW (Z₁), and 7 kW (Z₂), paired with Ø40 mm P12 ball screws and 45 mm linear guideways. The twin BT40 spindles deliver 10 000 rpm and 7.5–11 kW, supported by Ø70 mm spindle bearings. The 24+1 station arm-type ATC handles tools up to Ø75 mm (Ø150 mm without adjacent tool) and 300 mm length, with random-memory selection and 1.5 s tool-to-tool change. The work table measures 1500 × 600 mm with five 18 × 100 mm T-slots and a 700 kg load capacity. Overall machine footprint is 3650 × 3520 × 3000 mm (W × D × H), net weight 8400 kg. Utilities include 7 kg/cm² air pressure and 45 kVA power supply.
